CCI #11 PERCUSSION CAPS
A CCI primer is tested and changed after each iteration. Modern CCI primers are more sensitive, harder to seat, and better suited to progressive and automated loading equipment. By using non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes, the cleanest burn is possible is ensured.
The #11 percussion caps were introduced to the muzzleloading market by CCI in 1975. Why? Without mercury, uncorrosive, and damnably trustworthy. Currently, CCI provides four well-liked products. Black powder can be ignited with more force using the #11M than the #11. Smaller nipples on revolvers can fit the #10 cap.

For real and fake muskets and rifles, they also provide Four Wing Musket Caps. When shooting without a powder charge or bullet, only nipples with a large internal diameter should be used. When fired repeatedly without a powder charge, regular nipples might jam and break apart the cap. The internal diameter for nipples without powder charges or bullets is 0.050 inches, according to CCI. Clean the flame path and the nipples when firing. Utilize only official muzzleloading shooting glasses.
